Last year I was in Austin for the week students returned to UT. I went out on Thursday night, and it was AMAZING. 6th St. was shut down and reminded me of Bourbon St. The Aquarium seemed to be one of the top spots. It was packed with college students. The music was good, and the drinks were super cheap. If I remember correctly, $1 bottles and well drinks all night.
